The Circle of ‘Life’
Day on day, with everyone you compete,
Having all around, you feel incomplete.
You say, you wish, you want all of that,
All worldly charms, that don’t seem to last.
You run after money, you run after fame,
Till you realize, you’re completely insane.
You count your blessings, blessings disguise.
Bare eyes can’t, they see them when moist.
Now you wait, now you yearn,
Sanctions in life, you may have earned.
Then one fine day, over the bridge,
Life comes down, like a ton of bricks.
Broken and crushed, you lay shattered,
You lost all of that, all which mattered.
When you admit, you are made up of holes.
Comes a hand, and gently consoles.
There comes a time, someone touches the soul.
Grabs the bits, and makes you a whole.
You learn your lesson, but not for long,
To board the same lane and “poof” you’re gone
That fine day, you start again,
To compete for more, money and fame.
Life comes around like a full circle
With wishes and desires, blessings and miracles..
